Barcelona Day 1

It is 8 in the morning and we got out of bed. We packed all our things the day before so we do not have to do much now except take care of the last things. It is now 10 am. We are leaving for the Brussel airport. It is a 3.15 hour drive when all goes well. And it went well. We arrived in time on the airport in Brussel. As usual the roadsigns in Belgium are notoriously absent when you need them, but we managed (even without a tomtom). The check in is the most easy one I have ever seen. Go to the desk, give your luggage and we are done. Next we board the plane. We have reserved seats, which is a novelty today on most budget flights (maybe that is only the case in Holland). The flight was short (we slept) and uneventful as it should be. I hate turbulence and mediocre landings. We took a cab to the apartment. An easy 20 minute ride. Sofar so good. Now we had to phone our contact in Barcelona to inform him that we arrived. 10 minutes later he arrived. We saw the apartment and it looked very good (although it was 5 stories up). We now were completely settled in and ready to eat somewhere in the city. We choose to eat across he street from our apartment. It was Tapaz and as usual very good. I will include some photos later on, because i forgot my cable adapter for my camera. Kind regards out of Barcelona.
